RBSI really loves Mughal miniatures it seems and cannot resist having a discussion on them every few days! And rightly so! They do after all represent Indian painting in one its most nuanced and sophisticated forms.

Jahangir does not look like himself in the Mughal Miniatures that were painted in his time. He had a hooked nose as per the miniature painted during his reign. After all Mughal miniatures hit their zenith during his reign.

Unusual green...

Maybe to tie him with Muhammad...
