Never come across this work of Rembrandt before!

The above nobleman is supposed to be Shah Jahan. Rembrandt was a collector of Mughal miniatures and is supposed to have made some copies too. Rembrandt's Mughal miniatures can be viewed at Schonbrunn Palace, Vienna and Louvre, Paris.

did he come to India?

He never had much money, wonder how much they cost?

wow

RBSI : Maybe, you could arrange for the book "The Influence of Mughal Miniatures on the Art of Rembrandt".
