if he painted it in 1656 it means Shahjehan would be about 64ish. he didnt have any sons that young at that age I think. So I wonder if this is real and also who this mysterious little son is.
Rasna Aroraji- As far as I'm aware, Rembrandt didnt travel to India. Hence the paintings were almost certainly painted by seeing works by Mughal painters which somehow reached Rembrandt. Hence the date of the painting cant be used to date Shah Jahan's life events as the painting by Rembrandt would be a depiction of an event which might have happened several years before.
