The true meaning of Ramayana by Swami Chinmayananda, is worth reading. There is a beautiful word-play hidden in the poetry of the Ramyana, both Valmiki version & Tulsidas version. The names - Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Bali, Sugreeva, Dasamukha, Ayodhya etc. - all have a deeper contextual meaning.
