The name China is of Indian origin. The first book that mentions China as a country/nation state, well before any Chinese book for that matter, is the Indian/Hindu epic the Mahabharata, meaning, among other things, the Great Bharat. In ancient India, China was also known Mahachina or Great China.

"India conquered and dominated China culturally for 20 centuries without ever having to send a single soldier across her border," said former Chinese ambassador to the US, Mr Hu Shih.

The child in ignorance may kick the mother's womb, but it would always remain the child. :)
