The" Nautch girl" genre was a perennial fave with all painters of yore---there are several from the Company School --from Pondicherry--Tanjore-Delhi--Patna---in various British Museums---W G Archer-- Commissioner Patna had several in his pvt collection and has written some well-researched books too
